Design Tools

Design work for a small brand rarely requires a full creative suite; it requires a handful of specific assets in exactly the right sizes. These seven tools produce them. The Logo Maker builds a wordmark or icon-based logo from typography, colour and simple shapes, exporting at high resolution. The Business Card Maker lays out a standard card front and back at print dimensions with proper bleed. The Favicon Generator takes one image and produces the full set of sizes a website needs, from the 16 pixel browser tab icon up to the large Apple touch icon. The Signature Maker turns a drawn or typed signature into a transparent PNG for documents. The UI/UX Mesh Gradient Generator creates the soft multi-point gradients common in modern interfaces and exports the CSS. The Color Toolkit handles picking, converting between HEX, RGB, HSL and CMYK, and building palettes. The Accessibility Contrast Checker tests those colours against WCAG standards.

Colour first, everything else after. Open the Color Toolkit and settle on a primary colour, one accent and a neutral, then immediately run each text-and-background pairing through the Accessibility Contrast Checker, because discovering at the end that your brand colour is unreadable on white forces a redesign. Aim for a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 for body text and 3 to 1 for large headings. With colours fixed, build the logo, keeping it legible at small sizes and testing it in a single colour as well as full colour, since it will appear on stamps, invoices and favicons where detail disappears. Feed the finished logo into the Favicon Generator and the Business Card Maker. Use the Mesh Gradient Generator for website backgrounds and presentation slides, and the Signature Maker when a PDF needs signing without printing it.

Each of these tools draws onto an HTML5 canvas or generates SVG inside your browser and then exports the result as a file you download directly. Nothing you upload, whether a photograph for a favicon or a scan of your handwritten signature, is transmitted anywhere. A signature in particular is worth protecting, because it is a reusable credential and there is no good reason for a copy of yours to exist on somebody else's server. Exports are produced at resolutions suitable for real use rather than screen preview: business cards at print dimensions, favicons in the complete size set browsers request, and logos large enough to place on signage. There is no watermark on any output and no restriction on commercial use.
